This one-of-one terracotta-inspired three-dimensional wall sculpture is rooted in Omar’s time in New Mexico. Inspired by the distinct terracotta pottery found throughout Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos, Omar carried those desert impressions back to the Californian Southwest and transformed them into this singular piece.
The sculpture features a subtle, rustic terracotta pot holding a copper-toned, sea-green patina prickly pear, topped with a white desert-cloud–inspired flower. Every element is shaped and patinaed in Omar’s signature style, creating a warm desert ambiance that enhances any wall it adorns.
Framed in a hand-corrugated, rustic, distressed steel background measuring 13” x 18½”, the piece gains an added layer of nostalgic character, making it feel both aged and artfully timeless. A sturdy bracket on the back ensures easy hanging.
This is the only one in existence—a true Omar Wysong original wall sculpture, carrying the spirit of the Southwest in every detail.
